For riders who enjoy the challenge of mountain bike riding but do not want it too demanding Approx 30km

Ashburton Cycles Avanti Plus Novice Recreational Ride

  This will be along farm tracks. Not very demanding at all. Very suitable for novice riders.

All events will traverse the slopes of Mt Somers passing lime works, through bush, snow grass and along farm tracks with fantastic views. The course is on Mt Somers Station so this is a unique opportunity to go over this area.
Lots of spot prizes including 2 mountain bikes donated by Ashburton Cycles
also that great meal after the race.
